Le Shouvre

Le Shouvre is a small, independent brand, specializing in shoe design and customization. Founded by Henry Birkbeck, Le Shouvre is based in Paris, but also operates in Edinburgh, Scotland. All designs are original (unless otherwise stated), and are meticulously hand-painted using a variety of materials and specific techniques.

Shoes are designed and customized on a commission basis, and have been sent throughout Europe, as well as to places such as the U.S., Australia and South America.

Le Shouvre aims to provide individuality and personalization for that most beloved part of your outfit: footwear. Using a shoe/style of your choice, we can create unique, one-of-a-kind designs that you can be sure you won’t see on someone else’s feet.

It has been said that you can tell a lot about someone by what they wear, and shoes are often the boldest expression of this. But if the shoes reflect the person, then why would you want to have exactly the same pair as everyone else?

Chances are, you like your shoes to suit a particular mood, or outfit. Whether the decision is based around the look or the feel, the design should be an extension of that decision.
